Ernie has led, advised, coached, built, and enjoyed winning teams and organizations around the World. He is the president of the largest non-profit public speaking organization in Bowie, Maryland; the founder and owner of Powerhouse Motivations Coaching &Â Leadership Solutions, DC; B&S Stocks; and Island Real Estate Investments International.
He served in the United States Navy as a senior enlisted leader, advisor, builder, and mentor for over twenty-three years. His notable Navy accomplishments include fifteen military deployments, six combat tours, and leading dozens of multi-million-dollar construction and humanitarian aid projects, while negotiating peace agreements with Taliban Commanders in Afghanistan.
Outside of working with the U.S. Navy, to achieve freedom and make the world a better place, Ernie has teamed with leaders and organizations such as Dr. John C. - Married his wife of 29+ years in 1996 (1st child was born in 1997, he was deployed)
- Served as a military construction supervisor, career counselor, mentor, & coach
- First of six combat deployments in 2003 (2nd child was born, again he was deployed)
- Inducted into the world’s #1 leadership fraternity in 2005, The U.S. Navy Chiefs' Mess
- Senior Enlisted Advisor, U.S. Pentagon, Washington, DC, Regional Advisor 2011–2016
- Retired from the Navy and Founded Powerhouse Motivations C&LS DC in 2016

I’m Ernie Davis, The People’s Coach. And yes, I’m the guy you call, consult, and work with when you’re ready to take your life, leadership, public speaking skills, and entrepreneurial ideas and endeavors to the multi-million-dollar level. I’m also the guy you call when you need someone with excellent oratory ability and a remarkable life story that offers valuable insights and teachings that can motivate, inspire, educate, aid, and influence your audience and listeners to overcome obstacles and pursue the personal growth and development needed to create their own success.
I can help you do that because I’m also a dreamer who loves life, loves living, and loves sharing my professional knowledge, wisdom, and insights to help men and women worldwide manifest new realities to achieve results through entrepreneurship, public speaking, personal belief, and leadership by applying the non-traditional approach of The Powerhouse Process™.
What I do is amazingly fun and engaging, and I’m the best at it.
However, my story is different. I grew up in the late 1970s and early 1980s, as well as the 1990s, with a penchant for success. My grandmother was the first entrepreneur I ever met. She ran a home-based business, a Carolina Liquor House and Gambling Spot, from a La-Z-Boy recliner in her living room. My uncle was the neighborhood Crime Boss, and my father was the violent and aggressive alcoholic who was arrested for the brutal stabbing and attempted murder of my mother in 1985. My brother and I witnessed the outcome and served as her first responders at the ages of five and ten.
According to all the professionals, social workers, reporters, and psychologists, my life was over before it began. From listening to them and their critiques, I was destined to a life of mediocrity, failure, poverty, crime, and alcoholism or drug abuse, but I refused to accept what they had to say.
My determination to escape brought me into the mentorship of a Master Mason, who would teach me the craft, make me an apprentice, and eventually shuttle me off to the United States Navy, where my life and perspective would change forever. The U. S. Navy was a Godsend. It helped me realize that we’re not limited to the teachings and beliefs of the past, and we can compete at the highest levels if given an equal opportunity to prepare ourselves and prove our value and worth. Meritocracy is the way, and coaching brings it to light.
In the Navy, I started at the bottom, but the bottom was a lot higher than where I began. It’s almost like the Universe was guiding, shaping, and molding me for a greater mission. I started my career as a construction apprentice building refugee camps in Cuba and retired some twenty-three years later after working with the Taliban in Afghanistan and surviving several near-death experiences or close calls, that led me to founding Powerhouse Motivations Coaching & Leadership Solutions DC, after being called and interviewed by the White House, working with CIA operatives in the Field, and serving as an advisor to the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff at the United States Pentagon … At least, that’s the story, and I’m sticking to it. But I’ve got a whole lot more to share.

The Powerhouse Process is the 9-Step Road Map I discovered while looking back through the journals of my successes and failures to attaining personal growth, financial freedom, and independence between the ages of 22 and 46 while studying the works of guys like Napoleon Hill, John C. Maxwell, Robert Kiyosaki, Christ, and others. During my research, I discovered a common theme. I found that a man's journey to success can be summarized, emulated, and repeated in nine simple steps. I found that any man who had achieved superior levels of success, financial freedom, and independence had inadvertently or intentionally grown through the 9-step process.
